Bingo needs your backing!

Bingo clubs are closing up and down the country. Excessive taxation, the smoking ban and the re-regulation of machines have all contributed to the destruction of an industry that lies at the heart of many communities in the UK.

These closures have a serious impact on both those who use them and those who rely on their income, whether it be club owners themselves, suppliers or the government that relies on their taxation. Bingo generates billions of pounds in stake money, employs 20,000 people across the country and is played by over three million people every week.

It is not too late for the regulatory landscape to change so that bingo can flourish once more. We are asking parliamentary candidates to sign the ‘bingo bond’ to show their support for the bingo industry and call for a fairer taxation regime.
